Jeremy Williams has been named Great American Conference Defensive Player of the Week as it was announced by the conference on Monday.
Williams led a Henderson State defense that recorded nine sacks, 11 tackles for lost yardage, and three interceptions.
The senior from Raymond, Miss. recorded eight total tackles, 1.5 sacks and two pass break-ups in Henderson's win over Southwestern Oklahoma.
