Arkansas Tech scored three runs in the third-inning and went on to beat Henderson State 7-2, Friday at Clyde Berry Field in Arkadelphia, Ark.
Henderson State, 17-24 on the season and 11-14 in the Great American Conference, had a 2-1 lead after two innings as the Reddies put together three hits in the second frame.

Arkansas Tech took the lead in the third-inning as Sage Boehner led off with a double followed by a looping single to center by Chance Scamardo to put runners at first and second with none out.
After a flyout by Patrick Castleberry, Kris Ayers just beat out a potentially inning-ending double-play ball, putting runners on the corners with two out.
Zac Johnson then put the Wonder Boys on top for good, smashing a three-run homer that gave Arkansas Tech a 4-2 lead.
ATU, 34-8 overall and 20-5 in the GAC, added a run in the sixth and two more in the ninth to put the game away.
ATU's Ryan Taylor improved to 4-2 on the season after allowing two runs in 7.1 innings of work.
Colton Lorance pitched six innings for the Reddies and was tabbed with the loss falling to 5-3 on the season.
Henderson State collected seven hits in the game with seven different players having a hit.
The two teams will conclude their three-game conference series on Saturday with a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Clyde Berry Field.
